Bourjois Contour Clubbing Waterproof Pencil Eyeliner In 45 Blue Remix For A Wild Night In Town!

February 9, 2012 by Bun Bun 6 Comments

A clubber is one who dances to tuneless techno music and downs alcohol like water, in an environment where shouting is the least you can do to vaguely hear what the other person is saying.

A clubber is also someone who wields a club to club the club-ee.

I’m neither.

The Bourjois Contour Clubbing Waterproof Pencil Eyeliner in 45 Blue Remix is perfect for a wild night in town with its metallic blue and oddly, appeals to me greatly.

Play It Up With Colors!

Colored eyeliners are a quick and easy way to make your eyes pop. Like blue-based lipstick which can help neutralize the yellowness in teeth and make them appear whiter, blue eyeliner can neutralize the redness in eyes and make the white look brighter.

I like sporting the unique bright blue color of the liner by itself and then load up on black mascara. (I don’t know why I said that, since the only color of mascara I use is black. Lol.) Mascara is essential here, unless you fancy looking really queer with a blue eyeline.

Blue Remix + Tightlining + A crappy mascara

But if the neon-metallic blue is a little too shocking for you even with mascara on, you can layer on some black liner, so that the blue functions as a nice transition color upwards – akin to the Horizontal Gradient Method of Eyeshadow Application.

Creamy And Pigmented

Compared to the L’Oreal HiP Chrome Eyeliners which are also metallic and do go on smoothly, the Bourjois one is even CREAMIER and goes on smoother. If you’ve tried the Loreal ones and think they go on like butter, the Bourjois Contour Clubbing Waterproof Pencil Eyeliner goes on like… silk!

Perfect for time-deprived professionals who need makeup products to go on in the fastest time!

Very Long Lasting Pencil Eyeliner And Does Not Irritate

Unlike the L’Oreal HiP Chrome Eyeliners, the Bourjois Contour Clubbing Waterproof Pencil Eyeliner Blue Remix does not irritate my eyes despite being also metallic with shimmers.

The best thing about this metallic pencil eyeliner is its staying power. Like WOW. It remains as vibrant in color, not fading a bit, as when I just applied it.

Being able to stay on my oily lids means that this pencil is not only waterproof, but smudgeproof too!

This is a high quality pencil eyeliner and I might pick up the Bourjois Contour Clubbing Waterproof Pencil Eyeliner in 41 Black Party, a matte black eyeliner, for tightlining. The Prestige Prestige Total Intensity Eyeliner Deepest Black hasn’t worked as well as I expected. Quite a disappointment, actually.

I think Bourjois eyeliners have really awesome quality. Its liquid eyeliner, Bourjois Liner Glitter Fizz Eyeliner, is another high quality one!

Ooh very pretty! I love color eyeliners too. But because I have really heavy monolids with droopy eyes (haha the como cannot get any worse), I always need to use a black liner below it…like a really thin one. I recently caved and tried the Milani Liquidfy eyeliner in silver when it went on 75% off at CVS (drugstore). I love it!! I use that for my lower waterlines. I wish there are more left, but I grabbed the last one. Or else I wouldn’t mind mailing you one to try.

I took your advice and tried the Bourjois Glitter Liquid Eyeliner and YES IT IS LOVE! but i found it not black enough (being filled with glitter and all) so since I trust your judgement, if you see a (or a few) black black black black liquid eyeliner that is good, do review/recommend!! :D

YAYYY!! I’m glad you love the Bourjois Glitter Liquid Eyeliner! If you find it not opaque enough, you can line the eye with black liner first, then top it off with the glitter one! And what a great time to ask for a recommendation coz I have just the right thing to recommend! It’s the Clio Brush Liner and I’m working on the review now. :D

Yay! I’ve got the same one! I love love teals and blues and this pencil really is vibrant and long lasting..I’ve got a FODT with this…I used it with winged liner! Really should be using it more, it makes me happy. Lovely look, I don’t dare to smudge out eyeshadow on the bottom lash line, it doesn’t seem to suit me but it sure looks good :)
