Bun Bun’s First Birthday + Giveaway: You Deserve Part II

March 18, 2012 by Bun Bun 45 Comments

Hola! Thanks to all who participated in Part I of Bun Bun’s 1st birthday giveaway! She told me she’s very happy that more people know about her now. :D

And according to Part I’s requirement where at least 200 entries must be received, Part 2 giveaway has been unlocked!

Here’s what I think 97.28% of you are lemming for:

Seriously, I think I can just leave the prize as the much-loved L’Oreal Color Infallible Emerald Lame and this giveaway will receive just as many responses as this set of prize. Lol. But Bun Bun told me birthdays are special and our readers must be rewarded for their loyal readership, and so that they know how much we love them!

The Brush Guard is one of my favorite items too. I started off with this Variety Pack (read: The Brush Guard review), and subsequently bought the Blush Pack and Eyeshadow Pack. They keep my brushes well-shaped! And you can’t go wrong with Kate and elf.

Commenting how BBMT has impacted your life will earn you 2 points, and blogging about this giveaway (and how awesome BBMT is at the same time lol) will earn you 3.

Well, go on! Fight for Emerald Lame! Get your claws out sista!!!

BBMT has taught me many things ,like how Singapore sucks and given us shades(yes I am a Singapore).i will never manage to win this contest(no need to feel pity for me,jk you won't even feel pity for me lol),anyways during my tip in china where there was no youtube(the horror!)I found out about this website and read it almost everyday,it made me laugh alot and smile through my cold winters. Now that I have YouTube again I don't read it as much as I use to but I am going to read it more now.It has created a big(okie, not that big)in my life. Ps.This is very cheesy but it's true for some damn reason.

Well, your blog posts have certainly help me to appreciate more colourful eye makeup rather than being sooooo loyal to my Naked palette! ;) I have learn quite a bit on the application of eye shadows (especially the outer-V part) + tightlining. Honestly, my eye makeup is now so much better than before thanks to your super detailed tutorials. I love how you have pictures to accompany each and every step. It's really very useful for us! :)

Bbmt has taught me to love my very small double lidded eyes and not be afraid to use loud colors (: thanks juli<3

Jhitomi

You taught me that Asian eyes can be so different from each other, and we can use what we have to experiment and play around with makeup to look good no matter what shape our eyes or lids are. And you are teaching me to be bolder with color, like using an unusual color to contour above the lid, and with shape (horizontal vs. vertical gradient.)

Ever since i came across your blog not only does it make me even more proud that there's yet another singaporean beauty blogger to refer to but that here's someone who knows how to work with asian characteristics which still arent very well catered for even in beauty magazines! Love your posts and your blog and I'm very happy to be following! :)

I'm Korean and although I follow Karen's Makeup and Beauty Blog, it's different reading makeup tips from an Asian who is closer to my age. It also helps because BBMT actually presents tutorials so it helps me not only find great products but also how to use them!

I spend just one or two minutes every morning reading a blog post or whatnot in order to wake up since I am incredibly sluggish before 9 am. As a student, bbmt helped me not be late for school, since the interesting posts revived me instantly! (: Though Juli is has double eyelids, she tends to keep us monolids in mind during her tutorials (very thoughtful, this girl) and shares our common grief of lids that can smudge nearly any eyeliner. As a monolid, I have learned about eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascaras that work, as well as how to properly use these things. As a complete novice in the world of makeup (with a monolid, which makes eye makeup a bit more difficult), bbmt helped me save money by avoiding certain smudgy eye makeup and by showing me how to use them correctly (so I don't look ridiculous).

Actually here's just a little impact it made on me. I discovered your blog a couple months back, and the first post I read was about the Daiso brush cleaner, so I went to Daiso a couple of weeks later, and remembered you had a whole post about how it cleaned your Sigma F80 so well. So with that, I found a great and very cheap brush cleaner. Also, when I went to Hong Kong, I picked up a Kate gel liner because of your post claiming that it was even better than Mac's fluid line. I haven't tried it yet because i'm trying to finish my other gel liner. But i'm sure it's going to be great. So basically, i've just ended up saving some money I can use to buy something else. :)

as i commented the other day, i attended a wedding dinner just yday, and with the help of bunbun's eyeshadow tutorial for asian eye 5, my make up turned out awesome!!! you can check out my picture on facebook! (my current profile pic =P ) u might not be able to see the colors that clearly though =X another thing i love about BBMT is that its focused on ASIANS!!!! LURVE IT! alot of makeup tutorials all over youtube etc are by or on caucasians, and although they look fabulous, they are just not for Asians. :( people who are great with makeup might know how to tweak it but thats like the minority. so with these Asian focused Make up Tips, i really picked up alot more! Last but not least, i love the recommendations and the detailed explanations! through the "bun's Fav" I got to know many good products which i might have overlooked too. and That's all Folks :P Keep up your awesomeness! :)

Wheee fantastic second giveaway! I'd LOVE to snatch Emerald Lame! BBMT has taught me to appreciate my eye shape and play to my strength. I used to envy people who have a crease, and thought the fact that my monolids are a disadvantage. After I figured everything out with your help however, I can now treat them as an asset! It's essential to appreciate yourself to have a happy life, and BBMT helped me achieve that!
