MAC Automatic Eyebrow Pencil in Brunette Review

After my brief episode with the Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brown that made my black eyebrows appear even more fierce-looking and threw my eye makeup off-balance, I decided that since MAC is like THE standard for so many people, I should find my eyebrow antidote there.

I went to the Raffles City MAC store and was recommended Brunette, Spiked, and Stud by the MUA (makeup artist). I tried them all on my bare brows and thought Brunette looked a teeny wee bit orangey on me but the MUA insisted it suited me best. Against my better judgement, I ended up with Brunette.

So… Do I love it?

Eyebrow Pencil That Lasts Whole Day – Rimmel London Professional Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brown

They say “A well-shaped eyebrow is one of the best weapons in your beauty arsenal”.

After learning that well-shaped eyebrows make all the difference in giving the face an overall balanced and polished look, I went to do some casual research on which are the best eyebrow pencils. I wanted something cheap and of reasonably quality and when I saw recommendations for Rimmel London Professional Eyebrow Pencil, I was elated! We have Rimmel in Singapore! YES!!!

So the very next day I bounced into Watsons and got myself one in Dark Brown.

This was my very first eyebrow pencil so there wasn’t much (or anything) to compare it to. Here’re my thoughts on the Rimmel eyebrow pencil.

Is The Rimmel Glam Eyes Waterproof Mascara Good?

My Holy Grail Anna Sui mascara was drying out and I was considering whether to buy a THIRD tube of that when I found myself walking into Watsons.

I used to get really excited when I see our local cosmetics counters. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE drugstore products. It’s just that… after knowing that a world exists beyond our local drugstores, my heart rarely skips a beat anymore when I see the regular Maybelline, Revlon, L’oreal, Silky Girl, ZA, Rimmel.

However that day I felt that I really needed to get a new mascara and out of the corner of my eye, on the Rimmel shelf, I saw a pink and black mascara that was too cute to ignore.
